Charting Inclusion

This week marks a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle for most schools, and that includes charter schools. If you work at a charter school, this week’s FREE tool will help you take this time to reflect on your school environment and its openness to the idea of inclusion. Are educators trained in how to support students with disabilities? Does every staff member see value in each student? Answer these questions and others to help you ensure your school is welcoming and supportive to all students. The tool comes from “Charting the Course: Special Education in Charter Schools,” a CEC book designed to guide administrators and educators in providing students with disabilities with the high-quality educational options they deserve. CEC’s Tool of the Week is a free resource designed to support you in your special education practice. Subscribe and it’ll be automatically delivered to your inbox!  Get your Tool of the Week.
