Ideas for Increasing Team Communication

P6067_Leading_Coteaching_DanceAugust is almost upon us, so this week’s FREE Tool of the Week is for administrators and co-teachers who are gearing up for the new school year. This table provides at-a-glance suggestions for improving communication among students, parents, teachers and administrators. It comes from CEC’s book, Leading the Co-Teaching Dance, where the author identifies communication as the first of four essential components of successful co-teaching. The other elements are thoughtful partnerships, professional development, and planning, but for now, we hope this table will help co-teachers and administrators put their communication caps on!
