Whether school in your area has yet to start or is just underway, self-assessment is a great way to make sure you’re on track for a positive year! This table, “Universal Classwide Interventions” comes from a chapter in CEC’s Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports. Originally published in TEACHING Exceptional Children, the chapter offers useful tips on classwide strategies such as classroom rules, pacing, and monitoring. The table will get you started by helping you to examine your current classwide strategies and asking you to reflect on the things you’d like to improve.
